Framingham Drunk Driving Interlock Device Case

The client had several years ago been found guilty of OUI second offense. As a result she was required to install an Ingnition Interlock Device in her car when she was permitted to drive again. The requirements for an Interlock Device are strict, including regular service visits. The client got a notice that she had missed two service visits. A hearing was scheduled before the RMV and if the violation was substantiated the client would lose her lcense for an additional ten years. At the hearing I was able to convince the hearing officer not to find a violation and the client, who was pregnant and worked two jobs to support herself, did not incur any additional license loss.
