Framingham F.B.I. Gun Issue

The client, a firearms instructor from North Carolina, had an assault charge in Framingham District Court in the early 1960’s. The case was “placed on file.” Almost fifty years later the F.B.I. notified the client that his right to own weapons was going to be revoked because of the Framingham charge. I went to court, had the case brought forward, and convinced the Judge to dismiss the old case outright so that there was no ambiguity about the outcome.
